Path To Freedom

Congratulations, beautiful people! 

You are on your path to freedom. You have learned a lot on this journey. But you know what? It's time to leave the land of lack and head out onto your path to freedom.

This path was created for you before you were even born.

Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.

Today, the good news is you ain't there yet, but you ain't were you were. Today you are out of the darkness and straight into the light. You are going to create wealth God's way.

How do I know that? Because I'm about to give you a shove into that direction. Question: If God knew you and chose you before the foundation of the world, why are you walking around in poverty?  

I have come to know from experience that it has to do with the thoughts you think. I like to call it a poverty mentality or poverty mindset.

"Your thoughts become your words,
your words become your actions, 
your actions become your habits,
your habits become your character,
you character becomes your destiny.”

See, you are living out today the words you spoke out yesterday.

It's a scientific fact that your body responds the most to your own voice.

Let me give you some examples of poverty trash talk. "I can't afford that", "We don't have 2 nickles to rub together", "Jr. don't ask for that, you know I don't have the money for it", and let's not forget the famous "I'm too broke to pay attention".

Maybe you didn't say any of those quotes but maybe you said, jokingly, "My paycheck is gone before I even get it." In reality, It doesn't matter which one is you, as of TODAY it's NO longer you.

Every time we speak, we believe us. From this day forward, remember you live in a Kingdom where there is no lack, no poverty, no sickness and no disease. Your  words are gold. In fact, my favorite book says that you hold life and death in the power of your tongue. Now that really is something to think about.

"So Teresa, you mean to tell me that you teach a Name It And Claim It gospel?" Wow, I was wondering what was taking you so long to ask. Now we can get it out of the way and put it to rest forever.The answer is yes and no.

Now, I know what you are thinking, the answer can't be yes and no, but let me explain. No, I don't teach the perversion of it, which says and I quote, "God told ME to tell YOU to give ME your $33.33 and you will walk right out of poverty and into prosperity today." If that were true, well I don't know about you but I'd be richer than Peyton Manning right now. So then what is true?

Yes, you have what you say you have. It's scripture.  

Romans 4:17 as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations" in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

We live by God's example of calling forth our future into our present.

You don't need another person to tell you how much to give, that's reserved for the Holy Spirit. The other person can state the need but it's up to the Holy Spirit to reveal to you how much to give, or even if you really need to give at all.

Remember the words of Christ, in John 5:19? “Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do." This should be your motto to live by. If God's tells me to give I will, but if I don't hear a word or an unction to give, then I'm like the rock of Gibraltar and you won't move me. For one, this keeps you from being manipulated, but it also makes you keep an open dialogue with God. Which is always good, by the way.

Now it's my turn to ask you a question. Do you give to the people who hold up signs on the street? Or the homeless people that you see, do you give to them? Ask yourself why or why not.

Jesus made it clear to give to the poor. We all know that. But who are "the poor?" Doesn't the word also say that if a man doesn't work he doesn't eat?  Have you ever really taken the time to think about that? It seems that the word contradicts itself here.

Let me clear this up for you. You don't really know who's who. You can't tell by outward appearances who is poor or who is in need.

I know from experience the poor may be the people who work beside you everyday. They're not going to let you know it. They will never ask you for handouts or to buy their lunch. They will sit there and suffer silently.  The man on the street that looks homeless? He could very well be driving a BMW. (Could being the operative word there. I'm not saying don't give to beggars.)

That's why I make it clear in all my teachings to only follow what the Holy Spirit tells you to do. If you make a mistake it's ok. God will get you back on track. But if you do err, make sure it's on the side of giving.

Now to wrap this up in a beautiful little package with a beautiful bow on it for my beautiful people.

I want you to do something for me that will help you get out of the Land of Lack quickly and into the Kingdom of Plenty. I want you to ask God to show you someone in need today. Then ask God to let you be the one to fulfill it.

This, beautiful people, is going to start you on a brand new path.
